If you are receiving workers' compensation benefits pursuant to a Notice of Temporary Compensation Payable (NTCP or TNCP), watch out. Your insurance company has not accepted legal responsibility for your claim. They have the right to deny that claim at any time up to 90 days from the date your disability began. Once that 90 days has passed, if they continue to pay you workers' compensation benefits, they have the obligation to keep paying you benefits and they’ve accepted legal responsibility for your claim. Once they’ve done so, it’s not easy at all for them to stop paying you. But you should call us if you are receiving temporary benefits because the insurance company has some tricks in store for you. Don't let them fool you. In a future video, I'll discuss those tricks. For now, just call me, Greg Boles, at 215-280-3821. My advice is free.
